Description
This wine was named after its generous donor, Joseph Menault, who donated his vines to the Hôtel-Dieu in 1992. The entire vineyard was replanted in 1996 and 1997. The village of Saint-Romain is situated below the rocky cliffs, west of Meursault. The Cuvee comes from 2 parcels: the extremely steep “Village Haut”, situated at an altitude of over 400 meters, near the highest point of Saint-Romain, and the “Sous la Velle”, situated 50 metres below.
