Situation géographique et terroir
Bordered by Meursault to the north and Chassagne-Montrachet to the south, the Puligny-Montrachet appellation is at the heart of the world's finest Chardonnay terroir, including the famous Montrachet. The "Le Trézin" parcel is located at the very top of the Puligny hillside, at an altitude of almost 400 metres. Neighbouring the Premiers Crus "Sous le Puits" and "La Garenne", this climat has the same name as the wood and the nearby mountain, also called locally "La Petite Montagne". The etymology of the name comes from the presence of springs that flow on sunny days, of Celtic root, the prefix "tr" or "tor" refers to living water and the ending in "in" is found in other rivers that cross the Côte d'Or vineyards.
Vinification
Immediately after the harvest, the grapes are pressed in whole bunches in a pneumatic press, then we carry out a static settling of the juice for 24 hours at 12°C. The musts are then put directly into barrels and the alcoholic and malolactic fermentations are carried out.
Light blond toast, 30% new barrels.
