Dégustation :
Our Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru Cuvée François de Salin 2011 has a brilliant golden yellow colour. On the nose, aromas of citrus fruits, such as lemon, peach and floral notes are expressed. This generous wine reveals an aromatic palate where the olfactory aromas of citrus fruits and flowers are found. A mineral finish with a good length.

Description
Here, the name Salins does not refer directly to Guigogne de Salins, co-founder of the Hospices, but rather to one of his descendants, François de Salins. A former priest and Canon of the Collegiale Notre-Dame de Beaune, he donated his plots of land in Savigny and Aloxe to the Hôtel-Dieu in 1745. The vines located in the heart of the historic Charlemagne area, planted in 1944 for the most part, face south and southwest.
