En quelques mots

In the heart of the Mâconnais region, where the rocks of Solutré and Vergisson dominate the landscape, the vineyards of the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation flourish on slopes sculpted by 200 million years of geological history. Here, the appellation encompasses the villages of Solutré-Pouilly, Fuissé, Vergisson and Chaintré, offering wines imbued with the strong identity of these Jurassic soils.

Dégustation : Its golden colour with green highlights seduces with its brilliance. The nose reveals a floral and fruity aromatic palette, with notes of ripe grapes and almonds, enhanced by a subtle mineral tension. On the palate, freshness dominates, bringing a sensation of airy lightness and beautiful precision. The long, fresh finish prolongs this impression of elegance and depth, reflecting the exceptional nature of the terroir. Enjoy young for its liveliness or after a few years for a more mature expression.

Description

The limestone massifs with entrochs that form the rocks of Solutré and Vergisson, spectacular inversions created from fossil corals that are highly resistant to erosion, dominate the hillsides. On their east- and south-east-facing slopes, between 200 and 300 metres above sea level, the vineyards are rooted in Jurassic clay-limestone soils mixed with stony scree, where the vines draw freshness, minerality and energy. The steep, sunny slopes promote ideal ripeness of the grapes and a pure expression of the terroir.
