Dégustation :
Our Corton-Charlemagne Cuvée François de Salin 2013 has a beautiful bright golden yellow colour. It reveals an aromatic nose, where citrus fruit aromas are added to floral notes. This generous wine reveals a palate where the olfactory aromas, citrus fruits and flowers are found. A mineral finish with a good length.

Description
Here, the name Salins does not refer directly to Guigogne de Salins, co-founder of the Hospices, but rather to one of her descendants, François de Salins. A former priest and Canon of the Collegiate Church of Notre Dame de Beaune, he donated his plots of land in Savigny and Aloxe to the Hôtel-Dieu in 1745. The vines located in the heart of the historic Charlemagne area, planted in 1944 for the most part, face south and southwest.
