Description

Chassagne-Montrachet is a beautiful village located south of Beaune, in the extension of Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet. It was called Chassagne-le-Haut until 1879, when the name was changed to the world's most famous white wine: Montrachet. The vineyards of the "Les Vergers" plot are located at the exit of the commune of Chassagne-Montrachet in the direction of Saint-Aubin. The sandy soils allow the full richness of the Chardonnay to be expressed.
